CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF EU4JUSTICE PROJECT
02.10.2019. 15:22EU4JUSTICE project is implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina by the implementation body of the French Ministry of Justice in charge of international judicial cooperation - GIP Justice Cooperation Internationale, with the financial support of the European Union.
The aim of the project is to strengthen the cooperation between all prosecutor’s offices and police agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Activities are undertaken to support the leading role of the prosecutor in investigations through exchange of experiences of key actors and introduction to EU standards and practices.
Meeting parties focused their discussion on experiences in the application of the Prosecutorial Case Management System (TCMS) and on exploring how to improve it to ensure more efficient case management.
The willingness for further intensification of cooperation within this project, which is significant for strengthening the capacities of the prosecutor’s office in BiH, was emphasized.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
