CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH UNDP REPRESENTATIVES IN BIH
10.07.2019. 13:29The topic discussed at the meeting was the cooperation between the UNDP and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in strengthening the rule of law and regional cooperation in the prosecution of war crimes cases.
Through its projects, UNDP supports the strengthening of regional co-operation in the fight against the impunity for war crimes.
Within these projects, regional prosecutorial conferences are organized at which the prosecutors discuss issues relevant to regional cooperation in war crimes cases.
The Chief Prosecutor Tadić conveyed her gratitude to UNDP representatives for their support as well as her belief that such successful cooperation will continue in the future.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
