CHIEF PROSECUTOR MEETS WITH EU4JUSTICE PROJECT OFFICIALS
05.07.2019. 11:49The Chief Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, Gordana Tadić and her associates met with Renauld Van Ruymbeke, EU4JUSTICE Project Expert and Project Team Leader Isabelle Arnal.
The meeting was organized within the project EU4JUSTICE- Support to the Fight against Organized Crime and Corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ms. Tadić, Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutors’ Office of BiH and Mr. Van Ruymbeke, former French Investigative Judge specialized in complex financial and high level corruption cases and Expert in the EU4JUSTICE project, discussed modalities of exchange of best practices during the two-year project.
The modalities of cooperation in the fight against organized crime, financial crime and corruption were also discussed
It was emphasized that timely and successful mutual legal cooperation is extremely important for the work on these cases.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
