CHIEF PROSECUTOR MEETS REPRESENTATIVES OF ‘WOMAN-WAR VICTIM’ ASSOCIATION AND RESEARCH AND DOCUMENTATION CENTER
04.04.2019. 15:21The topics discussed at the meeting were the work on war crimes cases, particularly those committed in the area of Bosnia-Podrinje Canton, and the cooperation between the Prosecutor’s Office, victims’ associations and institutions gathering and documenting facts about war crimes committed during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is maintaining intensive contacts and cooperation with associations of victims of war crimes from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as with institutions and non-governmental organizations that document facts about war crimes, all with the mutual goal of prosecuting war crimes cases and fighting against impunity for war crimes.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
