CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE PROSECUTORIAL CAPACITY STRENGTHENING PROJECT IMPLEMENTED BY THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE OF FRANCE
07.03.2019. 15:58The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadić, met with Mr. Bernard Legras, Senior Project Leader and his associates within the EU4Justice project, implemented by the GIP Justice Coopération internationale - the implementing agency of the French Ministry of Justice.
The aim of the project is to improve cooperation between all prosecutor’s offices in BiH and competent police agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The activities are to be carried out in support of the leading role of prosecutors in investigations through the exchange of experiences of all key actors and introduction to EU standards and practices.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has previously cooperated with colleagues from France on a project to strengthen prosecutorial capacities.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
