GORDANA TADIĆ, CHIEF PROSECUTOR OF THE BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE, PARTICIPATES AT THE MEETING OF THE IPA PROJECT FOR FIGHT AGAINST ORGANIZED CRIME IN THE WESTERN BALKANS
28.02.2019. 15:13The meeting was attended by representatives of judicial and police institutions and agencies from the countries in the region, as well as international organizations.
Central topics pertained to the continuation of the project and plans for future actions in the fight against organized and cross-border crime, in the activities involving institutions from several countries.
All the representatives of the respective institutions supported the continuation of the project for the purpose of as efficient prosecution of such types of cases as possible.
Along with its partner institutions from the countries in the region, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is participating in more than thirty (30) international operations in the common fight against cross-border crime, all with an aim of bringing Bosnia and Herzegovina closer to European integrations.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
