ACTING CHIEF PROSECUTOR MEETS WITH OFFICIALS OF OSCE MISSION TO BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA AND REPRESENTATIVES OF BRITISH EMBASSY
12.10.2018. 14:52Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Gordana Tadić and the officials of the Special Department for War Crimes have met with the representatives of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina and representatives of the British Embassy engaged in the project related to the strengthening of the capacities of prosecutors’ offices and judicial institutions for work on war crimes cases.
A specialised training has been ongoing in the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the past few days, organized by the OSCE Mission and implemented by experts in international humanitarian law.
The cooperation will continue in respect of implementing recommendations from the OSCE May 2018 Report on the assessment of needs for the improvement of the prosecution of war crimes cases.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
