INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR SMUGGLING OF PERSONS
12.07.2018. 14:01- NEDELJKO RACKOVIĆ, born in 1975 in Čajniče, with prior convictions, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This accused person is charged with enabling the illegal stay of three migrants – citizens of Libya who had no identification documents with them and who had illegally entered the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by transporting them across the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the intention of acquiring unlawful material gain.
As alleged in the Indictment, on 11 May 2018, the accused was transporting the migrants for a previously agreed sum of money to be paid as compensation for the transportation services, and he was detected in Čajniče and prevented from doing so by authorized official persons of the Police Station of Čajniče.
This accused person is charged to have committed the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons, as referred to in Article 189, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
