INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR CRIMINAL OFFENSE OF ILLEGAL TRADE IN EXCISE PRODUCTS
28.12.2017. 14:54- Milovan Slavnić, born in 1965 in Travnik, a citizen of BiH, and
- Dinko Alpez, born in 1978 in Grude, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Croatia.
The accused are charged with the following: after the previously charged Alpez acquired cigarettes in a manner known to him and kept them for illegal sale in his family home, he arranged purchase and handover of a large quantity of cardboard packaging with 200 pieces of handmade cigarettes at the price of BAM 7 per package, with the accused Slavnić. The cigarettes in question were supposed to be taken on behalf of the accused Slavnić by a person known to them in Banja Luka.
During the realization of the aforementioned criminal action, the accused Alpez and a person known to the two parties were ID-ed by the officials of the RS MoI and during the inspection and search of the interior of a motor vehicle the cigarettes were found and seized.
According to the indictment, the accused are charged with having, in the intent to acquire unlawful property gain, acted in the following manner: the accused Slavnić had intended to purchase products that were not marked by control and tax stamps in the manner prescribed by the tax legislation of BiH which he intended to sell, and the accused Alpez unlawfully attempted to put the products on the market.
The accused are charged with having committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 210a in conjunction with Article 26 of the CC BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
