INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST ITA EMPLOYEE FOR CORRUPTION OFFENSE
26.12.2017. 13:46- Emir TATAREVIĆ, born in 1957 in Bosanska Krupa, a citizen of BiH
The accused is charged with having performed official duties and activities, on 15 February 2017 at the IBC Gradina- Gradiška municipality acting in his capacity as a civil servant of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH i.e. the customs officer of the IBC Gradina customs office and having demanded and received money to perform an action within his authority that should not have been performed.
The indictment alleges that in order to obtain unlawful property gain, the accused requested and received an amount of EUR 60 on entry into the customs territory in order to allow transport of used items including, inter alia, the import of used tires which is prohibited for import in BiH and is contrary to the applicable legal provisions.
The accused is charged with the criminal offense of Accepting Gifts and Other Forms of Benefits under Article 217(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
