ACTING CHIEF PROSECUTOR OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH GORDANA TADIĆ AT A REGIONAL CONFERENCE OF CHIEF PROSECUTORS IN BELGRADE
27.10.2017. 17:17A regional consultation meeting on enhancing regional cooperation in processing war crimes was held in Belgrade. This was the third meeting of Prosecutors from the region organized this year within the ’’Enhancing Regional Cooperation in Processing of War Crimes and the Search for Missing Persons’’ regional project, implemented under the auspices of the UNDP.
This project aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of processing war crimes cases as well as the search for missing persons through the enhancement of cooperation between the Prosecutor’s Offices of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia. The Prosecutors attending the meeting assessed the existing legal framework for regional cooperation and presented proposals for its improvement.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
