ACTING CHIEF PROSECUTOR OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH MET WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF ITALY
17.10.2017. 14:50During the meeting, Acting Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić informed Ambassador Minasi about the work and achieved results of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the process of establishing the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They also discussed the cooperation of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office with its counterparts abroad, including the judiciary of the Republic of Italy.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has carried out a number of joint activities in the past period with its colleagues from Italy in the fight against various forms of cross-border crime.
The Embassy of the Republic of Italy in BiH supports the strengthening of the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina and has, in the past period, undertaken a number of activities aiming to support the judiciary of BiH in several important projects.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
