ACTING CHIEF PROSECUTOR MEETS WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF OSA, SIPA AND THE DIRECTORATE FOR COORDINATION OF POLICE BODIES
31.08.2017. 11:34The meeting was held to address the current situation and different information that appeared in public regarding the work of judicial institutions and police and security agencies, and in relation to the findings concerning unlawful surveillance of movements and conversations of the Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Vice President of the HJPC BiH.
Further joint activities have been agreed at the meeting with the aim to diminish tensions that have emerged in the public and to continue the cooperation of institutions, within their competencies, in order to fully determine the facts and circumstances related to recent events. The public will be informed as soon as appropriate checks are undertaken.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
