PERSON ACCUSED OF ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS ENTERS INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING HIS GUILT
21.06.2017. 11:41The accused Damir Vukšić, born in 1980 in Essen, in the Federal Republic of Germany, residing in Ljubuški, has fully admitted his guilt for the committed criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, as referred to in Article 195, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has proposed the pronouncement of the sentence of imprisonment against the accused, for a term of one (1) year, and the proposed sentence corresponds to the role that this accused person had in the commission of the criminal offence which was described in the Indictment.
By virtue of signing this Plea Agreement, the accused has fully acknowledged his responsibility for the committed criminal offense and he has waived his right to a trial and the right to appeal to the criminal sanction pronounced against him by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis on this Plea Agreement.
This Plea Agreement has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
