Having questioned the suspected persons, the Prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption in charge of this case has put forward a Motion with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina seeking that the measure of custody be ordered against the suspect Z. • CUSTODY AND PROHIBITING MEASURES PROPOSED FOR TWO SUSPECTS IN THE ACTION ’GREEN’

The action codenamed ’Green’, which is aiming at combatting illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, has been carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), and the two aforementioned suspects have been deprived of liberty in the area of Bijeljina and searched.  In the course of this action, a lager quantity of narcotic drugs has been confiscated.

The measure of custody has been proposed in respect of the suspect Z. Z. for reasons as described in Article 132, items a), b) and c), namely, due to the risk of flight and the risk that, if at large, this suspect could hinder the investigation, conceal evidence and influence witnesses or accessories, as well as due to the risk that, if at large, the suspect could commit another criminal offense or complete this criminal offense.

The proposed prohibiting measures in respect of the suspect Z. I. refer to the prohibition from leaving the place of residence, travel ban and confiscation of travel documents.

The activities within the action codenamed ’Green’ are resuming, with the aim of identifying and prosecuting other suspects.
