PROHIBITIVE MEASURES PROPOSED FOR A SUSPECT IN THE CASE CODE NAMED ‘TWINS 1’ AIMED AT COMBATING HUMAN TRAFFICKING
24.04.2017. 15:10The Assigned Prosecutor moves that the suspect be imposed prohibitive measures for the reasons described under Article 126 and Article 126a of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH i.e. prohibition from leaving the place of residence and travel ban, ban on meeting with other suspects and witnesses and the measure of periodical reporting to the relevant police station.
The suspect is charged with having committed the criminal offense of International Trafficking in Persons and International Enticing to Prostitution.
The motion for order of prohibiting measures was submitted to the Court of BiH.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
