INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR WAR CRIMES COMMITTED IN ROGATICA
27.03.2017. 15:46Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes issued an indictment against the following person:
- Miloš Krsmanović, born in 1956 in Rogatica, BiH citizen.
The accused is charged with having acted contrary to the provisions of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War while acting in his capacity as member of the RS Army during the war and armed conflict in BiH.
He is charged with having, on his own and with others, tortured, mistreated, inflicted bodily injuries and abused in inhumane and degrading manner the Bosniak civilians who had been imprisoned in the Rasadnik camp and other locations in Rogatica during 1992 and 1993.
The accused is charged with inflicting bodily injuries and threatening a prisoner with mutilation, forcing a prisoner to eat three bullets and then piercing his finger with a knife. The accused is also charged with having forced prisoners during the winter months at extremely low temperatures, to wash trucks, then tortured, humiliated and sprayed water from a fire hydrant on them to later drive them in such a state, at low temperatures, attached to the body of the truck through the city of Rogatica exhibiting them to ridicule of population and seriously endangering their health.
The accused is charged with having committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
