PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH ISSUED AN INDICTMENT AGAINST 11 PERSONS

Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office issued an indictment charging the following persons:

1.  Bojan ĐOKIĆ, born in 1983 in Zvornik, citizen of BiH,

2.  Savo MANOJLOVIĆ, born in 1967 in Višegrad, citizen of BiH

3.  Izet REDŽOVIĆ, born in 1970 in Belgrade, citizen of BiH and the Republic of Serbia,

4.  Bojan MELEZOVIĆ, born in 1980 in Sarajevo, citizen of BiH,

5.  Salih BOTA, born in 1976 in Sarajevo, citizen of BiH,  

6.  Nedžad ŠILJEVIĆ, born in 1973 in Prijepolje, Republic of Serbia, citizen of   BiH and the Republic of Serbia,

7.  Senad SALTAGA, born in 1959 in Sarajevo, citizen of BiH,

8.  Admir MALIĆ, born in 1990 in Srebrenica citizen of BiH,

9.  Ramiz SALČIN, born in 1973 in Gacko, a citizen of BiH,

10. Nedžad BAJROVIĆ, born in 1975 in Sarajevo, citizen of BiH and

11. Mithad VEJO, born in 1982 in Trebinje, citizen of BiH.

The accused are charged with having, during the period from 2013 to 3 October 2016 in the intent to obtain illegal benefits as an organized crime group, made false documents in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia with the aim to use such documents as genuine as well as with having used false documents as genuine by sourcing them out to third parties for use.

They are also charged with a series of criminal offenses and with having deceived competent authorities as to provide certification of untrue content in a public document, minutes or a record, which serves as evidence in legal matters.

The accused Nedzad ŠILJEVIĆ is additionally charged with having illegally kept ammunition without permission of the competent authority.

According to the indictment, they are listed as part of an organized criminal group which committed several criminal offenses and provided false BiH documents for persons belonging to the criminal underworld of the countries in the region. The accused are charged with having stolen the identity of citizens of our country for a fee; with having altered or obtained forged public documents with personal data and photographs of real people. In that manner false identities were given to crime-inclined persons from Serbia, Montenegro and Bulgaria.

During the course of the investigation evidence of at least 50 cases of making documents with falsified data was collected.

The accused are charged with having committed the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 342 (2) of the FBiH CC/Article 383a. (2) of the RS CC/Article 336 (2) of the BD CC in conjunction with the criminal offenses of Forging Documents under Article 373 (2) in conjunction with (1) of the FBiH CC/Article 377 (2) of the RS CC/ Article 367 (2) of the BD CC and the criminal offense of Certification of Untrue Content under Article 375 (1) and (2) of the FBiH CC/ Article 381 (1) and (2) of the RS CC/Article 369 of the BD CC; and Nedžad ŠILJEVIĆ is also charged with the criminal offense under Article 52 (1) of the Law on Procurement, Possession and Carrying of Weapons and Ammunition of the Sarajevo Canton.
