INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST BIH BORDER POLICE COMMANDER
15.03.2017. 15:18Prosecutor of the Department III of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Indictment against the following person:
- Emir Dudo, born in 1974 in Vienna, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, employed at the position of the Unit Commander of the Border Police Unit of Hum-Foča.
The accused is charged with driving the Golf 7 company vehicle to a car repair shop in Foča, in late 2016, and using his position of the Commander within the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina to order the workers there to take the new tires and rims off the company vehicle and mount them on the Golf 6 car which is owned by his family and used by the accused.
Subsequently, the accused ordered the employees of the car repair shop to mount the old tires and rims from his car on the company vehicle, owned by the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This accused person is charged with appropriating movable objects entrusted to him by virtue of his office in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an aim of acquiring unlawful property gain for himself, and he was consequently accused of the commission of the criminal offense of Embezzlement in Office, as referred to in Article 221, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
