INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST TWO PERSONS FOR WAR CRIMES COMMITTED IN KLJUČ
05.01.2017. 16:28A Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes issued an indictment against the following persons:
- Mlađen Kovačević, born in 1955 in Ključ,
- Boško Dević, born in 1947 in Šipovo.
The suspects are charged with having committed war crimes against Bosniaks during the war and armed conflict in BiH, as members of the RS Army.
They are charged with having participated, together with other persons, in the killing of 6 Bosniak victims, men who were previously forced out of their houses at gun point in August 1992, in the area of Krasulje and Kamičak - Ključ municipality.
Mlađen Kovačević is charged with participating in the killing of six victims in the villages Kamičak and Krasulje and Boško Dević with participating in the killing of four victims in the village of Kamičak.
The accused are charged with having committed the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172 of the CC BiH.
The indictment will be forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
