INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR WAR CRIMES COMMITTED IN SARAJEVO AREA
30.12.2016. 12:55Senad Džananović aka Glavoguz, Edin Gadžo aka Kimun and Jasmin Erović, who are charged with having committed crimes against Serb civilians in Sarajevo area in 1992, during the war in BiH, while acting in their capacity as members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These persons are charged with having participated, together with other persons known to them, in the unlawful imprisonment, killings, rape, torture and inhumane treatment of Serb civilians, who were unlawfully detained in detention facilities in Alipašino Polje and other Sarajevo settlements.
As a result of their actions several civilians were killed and are still missing, while dozens of civilians suffered severe physical and psychological injuries.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
