PERSON ACCUSED OF ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS CONCLUDED A PLEA AGREEMENT
09.12.2016. 15:29The accused Radivoje Lučić, born on the 17 October 1974 in Plužine, residing in Nikšić, a Montenegrin citizen, fully admitted his guilt in the commission of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250, in conjunction with Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 of the CC BiH.
By virtue of the Agreement the Prosecutor’s Office proposes that the accused be rendered a sentence of imprisonment in duration of five (5) years, a security measure of forfeiture of items used in the commission of the criminal offense and the obligation to compensate the amount of Euro 7,100 obtained through the sale of narcotic drugs.
The accused Lučić pleaded guilty to organizing a criminal group with the aim to obtain illicit financial gain through international trafficking of narcotic drugs such as: Marijuana, Hashish and Heroin in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
With this Agreement the accused fully admits responsibility for the crime committed and waives his right to trial and the right to appeal the verdict rendered by the court pursuant to the Agreement.
By signing the Agreement the accused has pledged to pay the expenses arising from these criminal proceedings.
The proposed sentence is in line with the criminal practice for such criminal offenses and appropriate in terms of the responsibility and participation of the accused in the said criminal offense.
The Agreement was forwarded to the Court of BiH.
