INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST MARKO MARTINOVIĆ FOR THE CRIMINAL OFFENSE OF ILLICIT TRADE IN EXCISE PRODUCTS
16.11.2016. 13:05- Marko Martinović, born on 14 October 1969 in Gornji Mamići in Široki Brijeg where he resides, with prior convictions, citizen of BiH and the Republic of Croatia.
According to the indictment, the accused Martinović is charged with having, during the period from March to July 2015, bought and resold tobacco for which he had no documentation. The tobacco in question was cut in his house and other locations to ensure that it is appropriately prepared for consumption and the intent was to place it on the market on the territory of BiH and sell in retail as previously agreed with other persons known to him.
During the search of the house a total of 54 kg of leaf tobacco and 40 kg of fine-cut tobacco was seized.
Martinović is charged with putting products on the market that were not marked with control and tax stamps as prescribed by BiH tax legislation, thereby committing the criminal offense of Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 210a of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
