PERSON ACCUSED OF ACCEPTING GIFTS AND OTHER FORMS OF BENEFITS CONCLUDED PLEA AGREEMENT
16.11.2016. 12:59The accused Zijad Hadžifejzović aka "Zijo", born on 29 November 1977 in Sarajevo where he resides, a customs officer, an employee of the Indirect Taxation Authority, BiH citizen, fully admitted his guilt and entered into a Plea Agreement with the Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
The Agreement provides that the accused Zijad Hadžifejzović be rendered a prison sentence of eight months and an accessory punishment of a BAM 1,000 fine. Also proposed for the accused Hadžifejzović is the security measure of ban on carrying out a certain occupation, activity or duty for a period of two (2) years.
The accused is charged with having, while acting in his capacity as airport customs officer, accepted unlawful benefits to facilitate the customs clearance process for certain individuals.
Pursuant to this Agreement the accused waives his right to trial and the right to appeal the verdict rendered by the Court of BiH pursuant to the Agreement.
The Agreement is forwarded to the Court of BiH.
