ACTING CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH THE AMBASSADRESS OF THE SWISS CONFEDERATION TO BIH
08.11.2016. 21:10Acting Chief Prosecutor, Gordana Tadić met with the Ambassadress of the Swiss Confederation in BiH, H.E. Andrea Rauber Saxer.
The Prosecutor informed the guest about the work and results of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, as well as about the cooperation between the institutions on regional and international level.
It was pointed out that the Prosecutor’s Office is undertaking intensive activities to prosecute perpetrators of organized crime, corruption, war crimes, terrorism and other crimes and that the results of the work are visible to the public and citizens.
Ambassadress Saxer voiced her support for the work of the prosecutor’s office and for the strengthening of the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
BiH Judiciary has very good cooperation with the judicial institutions of Switzerland. The Authorities of the Swiss Confederation have strengthened and supported the BiH Judiciary through various past projects.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
