This year the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH will reach the number of 600 persons indicted with war crimes and serious violations of International Humanitarian Law, which will make the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH an institution with the highest number war crimes indictees in the world, after the World War II and the Nuremberg and Tokyo tribunals.
The activities related to the renovation of the facilities of the Prosecutor’s Office and the preparations for the beginning of construction of a new building for the prosecutor’s office were also presented at the Collegium.
It was also highlighted that the Prosecutors, who were appointed a few months ago to the Section for Terrorism, have commenced intensive work on cases, which will contribute to the fight against terrorism and prevention of terrorism and activities related to terrorism, as well as the departure of BiH citizens to foreign battlefields.
