CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PRESIDENCY OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
04.02.2015. 11:10At the meeting, the participants discussed the issue of cooperation between the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in establishing the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The participants agreed that cooperation between all the institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina would need to be strengthened, in order to expedite the establishment of the rule of law and prosecution of the cases of terrorism, war crimes, organized crime and corruption.
These activities are of key importance to the process of establishing the rule of law and creating peaceful and safe environment for all the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to live in, in the forthcoming process of our country’s European integrations.
Mr. Ivanić expressed his support to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the process of establishing the rule of law and he noted that the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina had the support of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its activities, which had been shown during the recent efficient dealing with the request to engage the capacities and mechanization of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the process of conducting exhumations and tracing missing persons.
It was concluded that any difficulties or problems should be resolved by joint efforts and cooperation of the institutions of executive, legislative and judicial power, for the sake of the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina and creation of a positive environment for the citizens of our country.
