CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH THE DIRECTOR OF THE DIRECTORATE FOR COORDINATION OF POLICE BODIES OF BIH

Director Vilić informed the Chief Prosecutor that the DCPB is undertaking increased surveillance and enhanced security measures with regards to the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and diplomatic missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that the enhanced security measures will remain in force until further notice.
Chief Prosecutor stated that the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the DCPB BiH are maintaining intensive contacts with police and security agencies in BiH, and Director Vilić informed the Chief Prosecutor that all correspondence of the police attaché of the French Embassy in BiH received by the Directorate is treated as priority.
The joint meeting conclusion is that the BiH Prosecutor’s Office and police agencies in BiH will continue to monitor the security situation and focus their attention to tracking and monitoring all activities that might indicate security threats in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
