BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE ISSUED AN INDICTMENT AGAINST ZORAN GUDALO (1967) FOR ILLICIT TRADE
03.10.2014. 13:30- Zoran Gudalo, born on 23 May 1967 in Travnik, a resident of Banja Luka.
The accused is charged with purchasing and selling medicinal products and medicaments in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the distribution of which requires appropriate approvals by authorized institutions; he did that for a certain period of time, until 28 March 2014 and without the permission of the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is in violation of Article 29 of the Medicinal Products and Medical Devices Act.
In the course of investigation, the accused sold a certain quantity of medicaments to an undercover Investigator, for sums of EUR 300 and EUR 400, respectively.
During the search of the house and facilities used by the suspect, a larger quantity of medicinal products and medicaments was found.
The accused Zoran Gudalo is charged with buying and selling goods the distribution of which is forbidden or limited, without the permission prescribed by the Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whereby he committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trade, as referred to in Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
