GORDANA TADIĆ APPOINTED AS HEAD OF SPECIAL DEPARTMENT FOR WAR CRIMES WITHIN THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH
26.08.2014. 15:04Following the aforementioned appointment, Prosecutor Gordana Tadić will organize and manage the daily activities and efforts of 38 Prosecutors working within the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
Following the appointment, Prosecutor Tadić stated that the priority will be to prosecute as many war crimes as possible and to take all necessary actions in order to expedite the process of the search for the missing persons.
Prosecutor Gordana Tadić has worked in the judicial system since 1996 and has, during her career, performed the following duties and functions: upon completion of studies in 1996 she worked in the field of economy, from 1996 to 2003 she was the Deputy Municipal Prosecutor in Živinice; from 2003 to the end of 2011 she was a Cantonal Prosecutor in Tuzla. Following the judicial reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina she served as Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Tuzla Canton from 2012 to December 2013. Ms. Tadić was appointed Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina by a decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina dated November 20, 2013.
