INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST ZDRAVKO GNJATIĆ (1962) FOR IMPERMISSIBLE USE OF COPYRIGHTS
20.05.2014. 15:40The Indictment charges Zdravko Gnjatić with bringing into circulation 760 pieces of pirate sound and picture carriers at the sales stand in Gradiška, without the authorization of the author or other holder of copyright, knowing that those were copies made in violation of Article 34 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights (‘Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina’, issue no. 63/10).
The aforementioned objects were found and seized by authorized official persons of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as per receipt issued for the temporarily seized objects.
Due to the foregoing, the accused Zdravko Gnjatić is charged with the commission of the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights, as referred to in Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
