INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST TWO PERSONS FOR COUNTERFEITING OF MONEY
07.03.2014. 15:38Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against the following persons:
- Admir Mulalić, born on June 18, 1983 in Celje - Slovenia, residing in Sanski Most, with prior convictions, citizen of BiH and
- Edi Kurbegović, born on August 31, 1993 in Ljubljana - Slovenia, residing in Sanski Most, with prior convictions, citizen of BiH.
The accused are charged to have, in the afternoon and evening hours of June 10 and June 17, 2013, having previously acquired four counterfeit $ 100.00 banknotes from persons known to them, committed three criminal acts such as buying fuel for the motor vehicle "Renault Scenic" with Slovenian license plates at two petrol stations located in villages in Sanski Most with the two counterfeit banknotes getting change in return.
The indictment further alleges that the accused Mulalić and Kurbegović used the remaining counterfeit banknotes on June 15, 2013 in one village where they used one to buy a chainsaw a have exchanged the other in a shop.
The accused are charged with putting counterfeit money into circulation as genuine, thereby committing the continued criminal offense of Counterfeiting of Money under Article 205 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH, in conjunction with Article 54 all in conjunction with Article 29 of the same Code.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
