EXHUMATION CARRIED OUT IN DOBROŠEVIĆI
25.02.2014. 15:08An exhumation was carried out at the location of Dobroševići in the area of Sarajevo municipality – Novi Grad under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. Skeletal remains of one person were unearthed.
Following the recovery the remains shall be transported to PUC Town Cemetery Visoko for forensic and criminal investigation processing i.e. collection of DNA samples in order to determine the identity of the victim.
The exhumation process was supervised by an Investigator of the Special Department for War crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. The process of locating end exhuming the missing was attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, a doctor specializing in forensic medicine and Police Officers of Sarajevo Canton CID.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing in BiH, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming the remains of the missing in all parts of BiH.
