THE ACCUSED VLADIMIR PRODANOVIĆ CONCLUDED A PLEA AGREEMENT

The accused Vladimir Prodanović concluded a plea agreement expressing his guilt for the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250, Paragraph 2 in conjunction with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
  • THE ACCUSED VLADIMIR PRODANOVIĆ CONCLUDED A PLEA AGREEMENT

The accused Vladimir Prodanović - born on March 30, 1976 in Zenica, residing in Trebinje, citizen of  Bosnia and Herzegovina – entered into plea agreement with the Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized crime Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

By virtue of signing the agreement the accused Prodanović fully admitted committing the criminal offenses he was charged with by the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued on December 3, 2013 and confirmed by the Court of BiH.

The accused is charged to have, during the period from November 2009 to May 2010 along with other member, joined an organized criminal group dealing with illicit international purchase, shipping, intermediation and delivery of narcotic drugs „Heroin“ and „Marijuana“ which are legally forbidden in BiH, as well as to have, having previously agreed with other criminal group members known to them, participated in the international trafficking of narcotics  from the territory of the Republic of Montenegro to the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina and further towards the territory of the Republic of Croatia.

Pursuant to the agreement the Prosecutor, the Defense Attorney and the Accused agree that the accused be rendered a two (2) year imprisonment sentence by the Court of BiH.

The accused also consents to the forfeiture of a mobile telephone used in  commission of the criminal offense as well as proceeds of crime in the amount of Euro 8.170.00.

The proposed sentence is in line with the role of the accused person in commission of the criminal offenses listed in the indictment of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH dated December 3, 2013.

With this agreement the accused confirms that he is aware of the content of the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. He also confirms that the plea statement was given voluntarily and knowingly with full understanding of its legal consequences in accordance with Article 231 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

By virtue of signing the plea agreement the accused pledges to testify for the Prosecution  against the other suspects before the Court of BiH when summoned.

Pursuant to this agreement the accused has waived his right to a trial as well as his right to appeal the criminal sanction that shall be rendered to him by the Court of BiH.

The agreement was submitted to the Court of BiH.

This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
