PROHIBITING MEASURES PROPOSED FOR BESIM HASIĆ (1976)
23.01.2014. 15:05Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH submitted to the Court of BiH a Motion for Imposing Prohibiting Measures on the suspect Besim Hasić (1976) from Zavidovići, citizen of BiH.
Upon the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the suspect was deprived of liberty by authorized police officers of the Federal Police Department, in the afternoon of 20 January 2014, in the territory of Zavidovići Municipality, and the was subsequently handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH within the statutory time limit.
After he was deprived of liberty, the suspect fully admitted the commission of the criminal offense and expressed his remorse for what he is charged with.
Besim Hasić is under investigation for sending a threatening letter containing threats to the institutions of BiH, its entities and international organizations.
Having questioned the suspect, the Prosecutor in charge of the case submitted to the Court of BiH a Motion for Imposing Prohibiting Measures pertaining to a ban on leaving a place of residence and reporting to the relevant police station.
The Motion for Imposing Prohibiting Measures was submitted to the Court of BiH.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
