REPRESENTATIVES OF THE JUDICIAL SERVICE COMMISSION OF KENYA VISITED THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH
13.01.2014. 15:42The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH - Goran Salihović also met with the delegation and spoke about the efforts of the Prosecutor’s Office in the process of establishing the rule of law and the European integration of our country.
Representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH informed the colleagues from Kenya about the history, internal organization, legislation and mode of operation of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and judicial system of our country.
Officials from Kenya were most interested in the capacities and mode of operation of the Special Department for War Crimes and the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, because the judiciary in Kenya began with the establishment of an International Crimes Division of Kenya.
Representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH presented on the mode of operation and organization of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the past decade, since its establishment in the 2003 to date, as well as about the plans for capacity strengthening of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the future.
