EXHUMATIONS CARRIED OUT IN FOJNICA AND KISELJAK MUNICIPALITIES

An exhumation was carried out at the location of a burnt house owned by Ramiza Jusić in Grahovci a place located in Kiseljak municipality. Several remains of human origin were unearthed.
The recovered remains shall be transported to PUC Town Cemetary Visoko for a post mortem-exam, identification and forensic processing.
DNA analysis of these bodies shall be handled by the DNA laboratory of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP).
The exhumation process was supervised by an Investigator of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, who acted on orders of the Prosecutor while coordinating the efforts of police, forensic s as well as other authorized persons involved in the exhumation processes.
The exhumations were attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, a doctor specializing in forensic medicine, Police Officers of Central Bosnia Canton MoI and representatives of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing in BiH, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming the remains of the missing in all parts of BiH.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
