The issue of intensifying activities in the coming period was discussed as it should result in more indictments for these criminal offenses in order to speed up the pace of the combat against human trafficking and detection and prosecution of individuals who commit such criminal offenses.

The fight against illegal immigration and trafficking in persons is an extremely important element in our country’s path to European integration.

Reports on operational activities undertaken in cases involving members of the Task Force were analyzed at the meeting held in the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

The Task Force to combat human trafficking and organized illegal immigration consists of representatives of police and prosecutorial institutions from the state, and entity level as well as Brčko District, who meet and decide together on detailed activities and courses of action to be taken in the fight against human trafficking and detection of perpetrators of these offenses, as well as about the manner of collection of evidence for effective judicial proceedings.
