CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE KINGDOM OF SPAIN TO BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
22.07.2013. 10:53At this meeting, the Chief Prosecutor informed the Ambassador about the outcome of the Structured Dialogue meeting held in Brussels on 11 July 2013.
The Chief Prosecutor informed the Ambassador about the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its future plans, as well as about the approved increase in the capacities of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, which is in accordance with the Recommendations of the Structured Dialogue on the reform of justice in BiH.
Ambassador Errasquin expressed full support to the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in establishing the rule of law and combating organized crime and corruption, and stressed the possibility of cooperation between the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Prosecutor’s Office of the Kingdom of Spain in the segment of fight against corruption and organized crime.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
