LJILJANA GRANIĆ (1954), SLAVIŠA GRANIĆ (1981) AND MILADIN JOKIĆ (1966) CONCLUDED PLEA AGREEMENTS
29.04.2013. 15:34- The accused Ljiljana JOKIĆ, born on December 9, 1954 in Sarajevo, residing in Zvornik, BiH citizen, entered into plea agreement with a Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. The Prosecutor proposed that the accused be rendered a conditional imprisonment sentence in duration of one (1) year by the Court of BiH, which will not be executed providing that she does not commit another criminal offence within the period of two (2) years. The prosecutor also proposed a fine of 2.000,00 BAM as an additional sentence for the accused;
- The accused Slaviša GRANIĆ, born on July 7, 1981 in Sarajevo, residing in Zvornik, BiH citizen, entered into plea agreement with a Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. The Prosecutor proposed that the accused be rendered a conditional imprisonment sentence in duration of six (6) months by the Court of BiH, which will not be executed providing that he does not commit another criminal offence within the period of one (1) year. The prosecutor also proposed a fine of 2.000,00 BAM as an additional sentence for the accused;
- The accused Miladin JOKIĆ aka „Baja“, born on January 10, 1966 in Maglaj, residing in Doboj, BiH citizen, entered into plea agreement with a Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. The Prosecutor proposed that the accused be rendered a conditional imprisonment sentence in duration of eight (8) months by the Court of BiH, which will not be executed providing that he does not commit another criminal offence within the period of three (3) years. The prosecutor also proposed a fine of 10.000,00 BAM as an additional sentence for the accused.
By virtue of signing the agreements the accused persons fully admitted committing the criminal offense they were charged with by the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued on April 17, 2013.
The proposed sentences are in line with the role of the accused persons in commission of the criminal offenses.
With this agreement the accused persons confirm that they are aware of the content of the indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office issued on April 17, 2013. They also confirm that the plea statements were given voluntarily, knowingly, with full understanding and undertake to reimburse the costs of the criminal proceedings in the amount that may eventually be determined by the Court of BiH.
Pursuant to these agreements the accused persons have waived their rights to a trial and appeal to the criminal sanction that shall be rendered to them by the Court of BiH.
The agreements were submitted to the Court of BiH.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
