AN EXHUMATION COMMENCED AT VRACA IN SARAJEVO
08.04.2013. 14:58An exhumation commenced at the location of Vraca - Novo Sarajevo municipality, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. Incomplete remains were unearthed and the exhumation shall continue on Monday.
The recovered remains shall be transported to the Ossuary of the PUC „Sveti Marko“ in East Sarajevo for forensic processing i.e. determination of the cause of death and collection of bone samples to determine the identity of the victim through DNA analysis.
The exhumation was coordinated by an investigator of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, a doctor working in the field of forensic medicine and police officers of Sarajevo Canton MoI.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing persons in BiH, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming the missing in all parts of BiH.
