Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crimes and Corruption within the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH entered into plea agreement with the following accused persons:

-        Eddy Atir, born on August 18,1988 in Ivry-sur-Seine, residing in the Republic of France, citizen of the Republic of France and Algeria, in custody as of December 7, 2012, and

-        Samir Ben Attia, born on October 5, 1989 in Cormeilles en Parisis, residing in the Republic of France, citizen of the Republic of France, in custody as of December 7, 2012.

By virtue of signing the agreement the accused persons fully admitted committing the criminal offense they were charged with by the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued on February 13, 2013.

Prosecutor and the Defense agreed that pursuant to the agreement, the accused persons Eddy Atir and Samir Ben Attia be rendered an imprisonment sentence of 1 (one) year by the Court of BiH.

The proposed sentence is in line with the role of the accused persons in commission of the criminal offense listed in the indictment.

By virtue of signing the plea agreement the accused persons have agreed to testify before the Court of BiH when summoned.

With this agreement the accused persons confirm that they are aware of the content of the indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office. They also confirm that the plea statements were given voluntarily, knowingly, with full understanding and undertake to reimburse the costs of the criminal proceedings in the amount that may eventually be determined by the Court of BiH.

Pursuant to this agreement the accused persons have waived their rights to a trial and appeal to the criminal sanction that shall be rendered to them by the Court of BiH.

The agreement was submitted to the Court of BiH.
