15.02.2013. 15:36
Prosecutor of Regional Team no.1 of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed a motion for imposure of prohibiting measures for 4 persons suspected of having committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175 and the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 173 of the Criminal Code of BiH, all in conjunction with Article 180 of the same Code.

The Assigned Prosecutor filed a motion for imposure of prohibiting measures for the following persons:

-        Muhamed ANADOLAC, born in 1972 in Bihać,

-        Husein BEGIĆ, born in 1964 in Bihać.

-        Abid LJUBIJANKIĆ, born in 1969 in Bihać, and

-        Sabahudin HAFURIĆ, born in 1972 in Bihać

Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested these persons on February 12, 2013 in the area of Bihać and Cazin, and have handed them over to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH yesterday morning.

After questioning the suspects, the Assigned Prosecutor decided to file a motion with the Court of BiH requesting that prohibiting measures be imposed to ensure the presence of the suspects during further criminal proceedings and to prevent interference with the investigation due to the risk of their leaving the place of residence and meeting with certain persons.

Accordingly, the Assigned Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes filed a motion requesting prohibiting measures as stipulated in Article 126, Paragraphs 1 and 2 and Article 126a), Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs c), d) and e) of the CPC BiH, i.e. house arrest, travel ban, prohibiting meeting with certain persons, prohibiting the use of identification cards and mandatory reporting to the authorized police authority.

The motion for imposure of prohibiting measured was filed with the Court of BiH.
