PROTOCOL ON COOPERATION OF THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE OF BIH AND THE OFFICE OF THE WAR CRIMES PROSECUTOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA SIGNED

The signing of the Protocol is a recommendation from the structural dialogue on judicial reform.
This protocol will be implemented with the consent of the victims.
The signing of the Protocol was welcomed and fully supported by the EU representatives, representatives of the U.S. Department of Justice and the International Community in its aim of promoting cooperation between the countries in the region.
The signing ceremony was attended by the following representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH:
- Acting Chief Prosecutor Jadranka Lokmić-Misirača
- Newly appointed Chief Prosecutor Goran Salihović
- Deputy Chief Prosecutor Vesna Budimir
- Deputy Chief Prosecutor Dragan Čorlija
- Prosecutor Munib Halilović
- Prosecutor Dubravko Čampara
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
