TWO PERSONS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY
04.09.2012. 15:30The suspects are under investigation by prosecutors from the Regional Team 3 of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and are suspected to have, in mid-June 1992 in the area of Višegrad and Sokolac municipalities, committed the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph h), in conjunction with Paragraphs a) and e) of the Criminal Code of BiH.
P.M. is suspected of having participated in the killings of dozens of Bosniak civilians in the pit of Paklenik - Sokolac municipality, as well as in the beatings of Bosniak civilians in the village of Crni Vrh and Orahovci primary school located in the territory of Višegrad municipality, and to have participated in the enforced relocation of Bosniak population from Visegrad and surrounding villages to Išerić brdo.
Suspect T.LJ. is charged with enforced relocation of more than 500 Bosniak civilians from the villages of Gornji Dubovik and Donji Dubovik, Žagra, Smriječje, Veletovo and Hanište in the municipality of Višegrad.
Following the arrest the suspects shall be handed over to the Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH who shall question them and then decide whether to file a motion for custody or not.
