INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR IMPERMISSIBLE USE OF COPYRIGHTS
29.06.2012. 14:35The indictment charges Almir Zunić to have on April 26, 2012 put into circulation thousands of counterfeit image and sound carriers in his two business premises in Sarajevo without the consent of the author, other copyright holder or a person authorized to give permission.
The indictment alleges that the accused Almir Žunić has put into circulation 400 DVDs of cartoons, 150 DVDs of films, 1476 DVDs of various content and games for the PC, and 30 CDs with musical content in one of his premises and in the other he put into circulation 2530 DVDs of films and games for the computer, as well as 650 CDs with musical content, which were sold at a price of 3 KM (BAM) per piece, The accused knew that these copies were made contrary to the applicable legal provisions of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights ("Official Gazette" No. 63/10) and has by doing so committed the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the CC BiH, in conjunction with the Law on Copyright and Related Rights ("Official Gazette of BiH, no.63/10).
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation
