INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS

Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against the following persons:
-        Dejan Stešević, born on March 21, 1985 in Podgorica, Montenegro, residing in Danilovgrad, a citizen of Montenegro, and
-        Zeljko GORANOVIĆ, born on September 26, 1983 in Nikšić in Montenegro, where he resides, a citizen of Montenegro.

The aforementioned accused persons have been in custody as of March 13, 2012 pursuant to the Decision of the Court of BiH.

They are charged to have on a yet undetermined date prior to March 13, 2012 bought from an unknown person in the Republic of Montenegro 12.638.05 grams of a narcotic drug Cannabis, a substance which was added, by the decision of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of November 8, 2005, to the list of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and plants from which drugs and precursors can be obtained.

As alleged in the indictment, the accused hid the afore mentioned drugs in several hiding places in the rented motor vehicle driven by Dejan Stešević and had, contrary to Article 40 of the Law on Prevention and suppression of Drug Abuse, (Official Gazette, No. 8/06) on March 13, 2012 at 06:15 am imported it into Bosnia and Herzegovina across the International border crossing "Deleuša", which is located between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

The accused have, as co-perpetrators, committed illicit international trafficking of substances declared to be narcotic drugs by regulation, and are charged with having committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195, Paragraph 1 of the CC BiH, in conjunction with Article 26 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH
