24.11.2023. 13:22 After questioning the suspects, the prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in charge of the case sent a motion to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to order prohibition measures for Husein Beganović, born in 1956 in the municipality of Cazin, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who was apprehended within the SIPA operation conducted in the areas of Cazin and Bosanska Krupa.  

VEHICLE USED FOR SMUGGLING LARGE QUANTITIES OF NARCOTIC DRUGS FOUND WITHIN “TRANSIT” CASE

24.11.2023. 13:07 Working on the case code-named “Transit” and using evidence from encrypted SKY and Anom applications, SIPA police officers, in cooperation with the police of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior and Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior, apprehended two suspects in the area of East Sarajevo.  

AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION BETWEEN THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH AND THE EUROPEAN PUBLIC PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE SIGNED

21.11.2023. 14:03 At the seat of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office in Luxembourg, an agreement on cooperation between the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina was signed by Laura Kovesi, EPPO Chief Prosecutor, and, Milanko Kajganić, Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.    

TERRORISM SUSPECT HANDED OVER TO THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

20.11.2023. 08:13 SIPA officers handed over suspect Adnan Ćatić, born in 1988 in Zenica, to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office in the afternoon. 

DUTY PROSECUTOR OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH COORDINATES ACTIVITIES TO PREVENT THE SMUGGLING OF 74 MIGRANTS - MEASURES PROPOSED FOR THE SUSPECTS INCLUDE DETENTION MEASURES AND PROHIBITION MEASURES

17.11.2023. 14:30 Acting within his 24-hour on-call duty, the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH received information from members of the Border Police of BiH that during border control on two occasions, four suspects were discovered in respective attempts to smuggle a total of 74 migrants, including 30 children, in vans and a passenger motor vehicle.
