CUSTODY PROPOSED AGAINST TWO SUSPECTS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY WHILE ATTEMPTING TO TRANSFER NARCOTIC DRUGS FROM BIH TO REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

14.12.2018. 14:48 Having questioned the suspects, Prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in charge of the case has put forward a Motion with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, seeking that the measure of custody be ordered against the following suspects:

THREE SUSPECTS OF CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY COMMITTED IN ZVORNIK AREA DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY UPON ORDER OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE

13.12.2018. 15:35 The suspects thus deprived of liberty are charged with the war crime that was committed during the attack on the village of Jusići near Zvornik, in May of 1992, in the course of which forty-eight (48) victims of Bosniak ethnicity were killed.

11.12.2018. 13:31 Acting pursuant to an Order issued by a Prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) have deprived of liberty Ramiz Mićivoda (1969) in the territory of Sarajevo. Ramiz Mićivoda is an active official military person of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the rank of a Colonel.

BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE SATISFIED WITH CONVICTING PART OF JUDGMENT IN CASE CODENAMED ‘CALIBRE’; APPEAL TO REQUEST STRICTER PUNISHMENT FOR PERPETRATORS

10.12.2018. 15:49 In this case, the sentence of around ten (10) years of imprisonment has been pronounced in regard to the three persons accused of illicit trafficking in weapons, ammunition and military equipment to Austria. The operation and activities in this case were conducted in a joint effort with partner institutions of the Republic of Austria.

CUSTODY AND PROHIBITING MEASURES PROPOSED AGAINST PERSONS SUSPECTED OF CRIMES OF ABUSE OF OFFICE AND EXTORTION
