On 12 March 2026, a press conference was held at the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, where Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić presented to the public the activities in the criminal prosecution of war crimes, organized crime, high-level corruption, work on cases with evidence from Sky and Anom applications, terrorism cases, as well as the results achieved in 2025 and planned activities for 2026.

The documentary film “The Curtain Has Fallen”, which tells about the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and partner police agencies on cases involving evidence from the encrypted SKY Ecc and Anom applications was broadcast on several TV stations across Bosnia and Herzegovina after its premiere by the end of last month.

EXPERT WORKSHOP ON THE PROCESS OF EXHUMATION AND SEARCH FOR MISSING PERSONS HELD

Prosecutors and investigators of the Special Department for War Crimes participated in an expert workshop on the processes of exhumation, forensic analysis, identification and search for missing persons, including taking bone samples for identification through DNA analysis.  

MOTION FOR PROHIBITING MEASURES AGAINST A SIPA MEMBER SUSPECTED OF A CORRUPTION CRIMINAL OFFENCE

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH proposed and the Court of BiH ordered prohibiting measures against the suspect Nebojša Miletić*, a police officer of the State Investigation and Protection-Agency - SIPA from the SIPA Regional Office Banja Luka.  

FIRST INSTANCE JUDGMENT IN CASE WITH EVIDENCE FROM SKY AND ANOM APPLICATIONS - SENTENCES OF MORE THAN 20 YEARS OF PRISON

In the Sako Bibić et al. case, the Court of BiH, after conducting the evidentiary procedure deciding on the merits, delivered a guilty judgment sentencing the three defendants to more than 20 years in prison and fines in the amount of BAM 90,000 with the confiscation of illegal proceeds in the form of expensive cars, real estate and money in the amount of more than BAM 350,000 KM.

A meeting was held in the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina between Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić and officials of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the U.S. Department of State, headed by Marko Tervakoski, Director of INL/EA.
